Rita-Soledad Fernández Paulino
Rita-Soledad Fernández Paulino is a former public school math teacher turned personal financial educator and coach. While sick on medical leave in March 2019, she started to develop her financial literacy by reading books, listening to podcasts, and watching YouTube videos.
By May 2019, she became the Chief Financial Officer for a small start-up called the "Puro Party Paulinos" aka her family of four. Within 19 months in her new role, Soledad used zero-based budgeting to pay off about $23k in student loan debt, saved a 6-month emergency fund, maxed out IRAs for her husband and herself, maxed out her husband's 401k account, and created an early retirement plan. Soledad and her husband are now on track to retiring at the age of 45.
In February 2020, Soledad started teaching others how to self-care their way to early retirement through her Instagram account. Due to the requests of the Wealth Para Todos Community, Soledad started to offer workshops, 1:1 coaching, and a weekly newsletter.
Soledad is now on a path to becoming a Certified Financial Planner to ensure more BIPOC & LGBTQ gente can receive financial guidance who understands personally how systemic barriers impact one's ability to build wealth. As the founder and CEO of Wealth Para Todos, Soledad is on a mission to make sure marginalized communities have a financial plan to retire early. She wants you working because you want to, not because you have to.
When Soledad is not talking dinero, she is spending time with her Mexcican - Dominican - American LGBTQ+ familia and progressive loved ones in sunny southern-California.
